Privacy Policy

AIFindMe ("we", "us") provides a free AI-visibility scanner and business directory at aifindme.com. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights under the GDPR.

What we collect

  • Website scans. When you scan a website, we fetch and store publicly available content from that website, the answers AI engines give about the business, and the resulting analysis (scores, grades, fix suggestions).
  • Business profiles. Scans of business websites create a public directory profile containing publicly available business facts (name, category, location, description, offerings).
  • Email addresses. If you claim a profile or join a waitlist, we store the email address you provide, and use it to contact you about that request and the product.
  • Rate-limiting data. We store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (never the IP itself) for up to 24 hours to prevent abuse of the free scanner.
  • Analytics. We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) that do not track you across sites and do not store personal identifiers.

Legal bases

  • Scans and profiles: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — indexing publicly available business information.
  • Emails you submit: consent and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
  • Rate limiting and security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Processors we use

Data is processed by the following subprocessors: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Firecrawl (website scraping), OpenAI, Google, Perplexity and Anthropic (AI analysis), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only as needed to provide our service.

Retention

  • Scan reports and profiles: kept while the service operates, so reports remain shareable.
  • IP hashes: automatically irrelevant after 24 hours; not used for anything else.
  • Lead emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. If a directory profile concerns your business and you want it corrected or removed, email us and we will handle it promptly. Contact: privacy@aifindme.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
